This is my final and completed draft of shadows. This draft contains the best photos from my previous drafts, of both natural and geometrical shadows. I really enjoyed working on this project and editing the pictures so that the shadows and light aren't contrasting to much. I also really enjoyed taking pictures of the different shadows and find ways to manipulate the shadows so that they give me what I want.
you did a good job finding natural and geometrical shadows and editing them. Your serioes goes well together, maybe narrow it down a little. Good job!
ReplyDeletecarl my beautiful little photo god! these pictures are amazeballs! You really got into it and captured beaitifully deep shadows. I love the one that looks like palm trees. It is so dark yet so light. it is wonderful. I also love ur first photo it looks as if it is a shadow in the nighttime. awesome set!
ReplyDeletei really like these photos, i enjoy how there are so many and i really like the shadows that you found on the street, its like you were in the perfect spot at the perfect time and managed to photograph!
ReplyDeleteI like all the different shapes of shadows you took. The variation is really inspiring. What really works for me is that the shadows create mystery and you can't tell what the object is in many of them. I also like the ones with the tree branches and how the light goes through the shadows, so it's not all black. I agree with Jessica, you might want to limit down this series because there is so much to look at it.
ReplyDeleteI think that your pictures of shadows are really interesting and because they are in black and white it makes them even more focused on the shadows and how they interact. Some people who are colorblind like Carlos couldn't tell that they were black and white but that doesn't really matter.
ReplyDeleteReid is indeed correct, but I can appreciate these pictures anyway. They are very nice they way that you captured the shapes in the shadows. nice job :)
