Final Draft of Shadows

This is my final and completed draft of shadows. This draft contains the best photos from my previous drafts, of both natural and geometrical shadows. I really enjoyed working on this project and editing the pictures so that the shadows and light aren't contrasting to much. I also really enjoyed taking pictures of the different shadows and find ways to manipulate the shadows so that they give me what I want.

Shadows Project Draft 3

For this draft I took pictures of geometrical shadows/man made shadows. This draft will help me for my final draft where I will have shadows that are natural and ones that are geometrical/man made.

Shadow Project Draft 2

Shadow Project continued.............
I continued to take photos of the shadows of trees because I feel that they create the most eloquent and interesting shadows. The lines and darkness that you can follow in the photos is incredible. My last picture isn't a shadow of a tree, but instead a shadow of a lamp post and crossing sign. I took this picture in order to experience with man made materials casting shadows. In my final draft, I will capture photos of man made and nature things casting shadows in order to show the difference between them

Shadow Project

For this assignment, I got to choose what I wanted to photograph. Since I really enjoyed taking photos of shadows for a previous assignment, I decided to take that love for shadows and use to for this project. My project contains photos of abstract shadows. Some are unclear of what they are suppose to be, others created creatures, and other photographs have many layers of deep shadows with hints of light.

Halloween

In this assignment, we took pictures of people with masks on that represent things or people that we were scared of when we were younger. We were influenced by Halloween! Also, with this assignment, we "fooled" around with Picnik, because they have really great effects and we have never used it before to edit photos.

Macro Series Shots

For this project, we had to take pictures of toys with pictures in the background. We did this in order to experiment with foreground background. Through foreground background, we could make the toys look very real. It was a really fun assignment, and we all got incredible realistic shots.
